Douglas (Doug) J. Groppenbacher
Doug has been a general commercial real estate broker and consultant for forty. Assignments have included leases negotiations; buyer and seller representation of properties; property management and land assemblage. Development partner in a luxury home lot subdivision and a garden office building. Has supervised the design and tenant improvement work in retail centers, office and industrial buildings.
Has achieved the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designations of the National Association of REALTORS®. Originally licensed as an Arizona real estate agent in 1976 and as a broker since 1979. Academic background includes an MBA and BBA degrees in business administration and marketing, with honors. Has been involved in many industry activities including past president of the Central Arizona CCIM Chapter and the Scottsdale Area Association of REALTORS and on various local, state and national real estate committees.
Prior to involvement in the real estate industry experience included various management positions with Amerco, Inc. (U-Haul); serving as the CEO of a small automotive aftermarket parts company and also as a teacher at the University of Portland in Oregon.
His focus of business is providing creative solutions to help clients with their real estate investments and business facility requirements.
